Question:

How do I set the Java Time Zone for MFT? I do not have access to changing the OS to a different timezone.

Answer:

The GoAnywhere MFT JVM should be pulling the time from the server, if possible, please have your server admin double check the time zone of the server where GoAnywhere MFT is installed on. If the time zone is wrong and gets updated, the GoAnywhere MFT service will need to be restarted.

To manually set the time zone for a Windows JVM, the “-Duser.timezone=” property can be added by browsing to [install dir]\GoAnywhere\tomcat\bin. Right click on (servicename)W.exe (GoAnywherew.exe is the default) and run as administrator. Then browse to the Java tab and add the parameter as shown below. Apply this change and restart the GoAnywhere MFT service.
