Hi,
I'm unable to view job log for jobs completed starting Oct 7th,2014. Is there any limit for job logs in the system?

Yes, the logs are dated and this is controlled by the "Days to keep job logs" value under the Logs | Log Manager | Job Logs Tab. This value controls how long the job logs remain active in your system.
