How to share a common folder and make it available to multiple web users.

For example, create a folder named "Common_Dir". Allow user A and B to share between them.

Say, when A login using web client, he should see this common folder and his regular home directory.

When user B login using web client, he should see this common folder and his regular home directory.

"A group is a named set of virtual directories and file system permissions that may be assigned to zero or more user accounts. This is useful in the event you wish to manage permissions for multiple users based on user roles."

Please let me know how to achieve this?. Thanks.

Hi there;

I'm just wondering if this feature / functionality is available in version 3.2.0 (GoAnywhere Services) and if there is documentation that outlines how to set this up.

Thank you,

CF

CFowler,

Yes, you do have the capabilities using version 3.2.0+ to allow multiple users to access the same folder.

Virtual Folders were introduced with version 3.0.0 which allows you to do just that.

Please refer to our Release Notes for GoAnywhere Services for more details and review the newest changes available.
