Have any issues been reported with how MFT handles GZIP files vs ZIP files? We have a process that last ran on an older version of Director where we picked up a zip file and pulled it to our system for processing. I learned today that it has always been a GZIP file with .zip for the extension. I don't know what gzip is, but when we retrieved a zip file today, we could not open/extract from the file. Changing the extension from .zip to .gz apparently makes the file readable. Should I change the project to replace the .zip extension with .gz?
TIA,
Kevin

I'm not seeing anything in our Release Notes or internal wiki pertaining to this issue. GunZip files usually do have a ".gz" extension.
Is it possible that the files are being compressed with another type program other than GZip?
