GoAnywhere can send SMS messages to mobile devices through Clickatell, Twilio, or Plivo SMS gateways. SMS messages can be automated using the SMS Task in Projects. SMS text messages are sent as HTTPS requests to the SMS gateway, which then sends the message to the desired cellular number in SMS format.
You can use SMS tasks to alert administrators when Projects have finished processing, or if a Project fails. In the following example, an administrator has created an SMS alert when a specific file transfer has completed.
In the next example, an administrator is using a Project to read the contents of a CSV file, which contains customer information such as names and mobile numbers. After the customer information is read into the Project, the Project will loop through each row of the CSV file and send an SMS message to each contact.
