France’s Centrale d'Achat de l'Informatique Hospitalière (CAIH) prepares and runs public contracts in the field of IT and telecom for its members, public and private non-profit health institutions. Created in 2014, it now has 1,300 members including EFS, FEHAP, FHF, Biomedicine Agency, UniHA, etc.
The software publisher is widely present at the European and global level in the health sector for the management of secure data exchanges such as PHI, ePHI, EHR, etc. Fortra entered the CAIH catalog and then won a first project with a CAIH member organization in December 2021 with its managed file transfer product GoAnywhere MFT.
This addition to CAIH and first project demonstrate the ability of Fortra to position itself as an important player in the protection of health data and especially in secure data exchange.
The deployment of GoAnywhere MFT at this CAIH member will allow the automation and protection of SFTP, FTPS, and HTTPS exchanges with various external partners but also the protection of emails and attachments sent by employees thanks to the Secure Mail module.
